Donatos Pizza

Amazing thin crust pizza... I’d never thought I’d say this but I really wish this franchise exists in North Beach (Little Italy in San Francisco)!!! I live there, proud of my hometown and its Italian heritage but I dare say Donato’s pizza is superior to Tony’s Pizza, North Beach Pizza and the Pizza Guy (the three best pizza places in North Beach, San Francisco, California). The crust is tasty, the toppings go all the way to the edge, the balance of tomato sauce, cheese and toppings is perfect. Wish it’s not Only in Ohio!

Ordered a large order for my company, they spent several hundred dollars for the order. When calling in this morning to touch base on the delivery it was a very unprofessional and rude experience. I wish that i would have asked the ladies name that took my call, and she was extremely rude and basically told me that she did not have time to mess with me or my phone call. If at all possible, I will bring this up to my company I work for and ask that we take our business elsewhere for any ore large orders that we may have.

We are so disappointed in the Donatoes Heath. We would order pepperoni double bacon almost every Friday. Each time over the past few months with less and less bacon being added. But we keep giving them more chances, thinking the next time they would make it right. Nope it just keeps getting worse. The price even went up by another dollar and I sure don't see the double bacon. Here are the two pepperoni double bacon we received last night.

I think it's despicable that they have a trashy "tip" cup hanging out of their drive thru window. Tip for what? Walking the food 3ft to me? Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if three employees weren't standing by the window, gossiping, not updating me on my order time. Then of course, when my order was ready, all three left to smoke cigarettes and I had to wait for my food to get cold before someone decided to do their "tip-worthy" job and hand it to me. 30 year farmer and truck driver .... where is my tip?

I have been eating Domino's pizza my whole life and live just 2 miles from them. If you eat in the restaurant you'll have excellent service and food, but if you order delivery there's a good chance it will be cold, missing items and sub standard. I order the same thing ever time and it's always missing something, cold and food is substandard. When I talked to a manager about it today, he was sarcasttic, rude and didn't apologize, offer an explanation... nothing. I've never experienced anything like it. He kept making me repeat it and half laughing about it. WHOEVER PUT THIS MAN IN CHARGE MUST BE OUT OF THEIR MIND!!!! I can't imagine Donatos wanting this man to represent their company. I know I won't be calling them for delivery again and will probably make the drive to another Donatos and give them my business....or just give up on them altogether. They are one of the most expensive anyway- Pizza lovers beware! FYI- this is the Donatos on 79 in Heath. If you're looking for something better...Don and Sue's is always awesome and has excellent service if you're looking for a better pizza and customer service! :-)
